November Meeting Highlights

For those who were unable to attend our meeting on November 14, here are some of the updates!

Board of Directors

We have transitioned to a Board of Directors, with the following people currently serving:

  • President – Julie Edwards
  • Vice President – Linda Melcher
  • Secretary – Alan Buss
  • Interim Treasurer – Jennifer Painter
  • Board Members – Patricia McDaniel, Mike Nutter, Matthew Painter, Judy Scott

Giving Tuesday

As you can see from our website, we have launched a #GivingTuesday campaign for this international day of giving on November 28. At the meeting we passed out postcards to spread the word. Please let us know if you would like some of these to hand out to your friends, acquaintances, or community groups. We will be emailing our supporters with news and updates starting next week! Our donation page can be found at: familypromiseofalbanycounty.org/giving

Save the Dates!

December 9 – Holiday Cookie and Free Trade Gift Sale at the United Presbyterian Church starting at 9am. Proceeds will benefit FPAC. Please let us know if you would like to contribute or volunteer
February 10, 2018 – Trattoria Promessa, an Italian dinner fundraiser. We could use some help planning and carrying out this event!

Grant Received

Pastor Ken Ingram and Ms. Terri Given presented FPAC with a $1,000 “Hands in the Dirt” grant from the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Church of Christ. This contribution will help fund Day Center renovations. We are so grateful!

Family in Need

A family reached out to FPAC to ask if we had space available for a family of three who are struggling after a recent job loss. We are highly motivated to make this vision a reality starting in March of 2018. Please support us in this goal.
