We are pleased to introduce our Executive Director and Americorps VISTA member, both of whom began working for FPAC in late January.
Ava O’Hollearn is our Executive Director. Ava grew up in Casper and owned a successful small business in Florida with her husband, Daran, for over 17 years. When they determined it was time to return home, Ava knew she wanted to redirect her focus to serving others. She comes to FPAC with a very strong background in coordinating volunteer efforts, especially in a face-to-face setting. She has held volunteer positions as Chairman of Disaster Volunteers and Chairman of Fundraising with a national charity. Ava is extremely excited to help children and homeless families find stable homes and jobs that pay a living wage.
Crystal DeBoer , a VISTA member for FPAC, graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Sociology and worked at a local nonprofit doing direct support for clients for three years. Crystal chose to apply to Americorps VISTA to expand her knowledge of the working operations of nonprofit organizations, where she intends to develop her career. Her main role with FPAC is capacity-building, which means she will help develop systems that will make FPAC viable.
