Ready to Serve

Family Promise of Albany County continues to work diligently to serve children and families in Laramie. Currently, we do not have a family officially participating in our program. We HAVE been serving a family affected by the Wade Mobile Manor Fire, and Director Ava O’Hollearn has been able to assist many families who for a variety of reasons are not a fit for the traditional Family Promise program. She is reaching out to community organizations to identify and attract families who would benefit from our services.

In addition, Ava has been actively participating in efforts to help firefighters and families who have housing and meal needs due to the Badger Creek fire that is affecting a nearby community. She will meet with a number of community agencies tomorrow to devise a plan to utilize Family Promise resources.

We are ready and able to provide housing, delicious meals, showers, laundry facilities, computers, phones, and office space. If you or someone you know has these needs related to the fire, please contact Ava O’Hollearn at (307) 742-6480, or Ava.FamilyPromise82070@gmail.com.
