Give to our Annual Promessa Gala

This is our largest fundraiser of the year! For 2023, we will be having Promessa Gala on Saturday Feb 18th. It will be an in-person event with an online silent auction. Ticket information will be available shortly. Tickets include: Heavy Mediterranean Appetizers (enough for 2), a bottle of wine, and a link to the virtual event.

Papa Murphy’s Pizza Fundraiser

We have a Papa Murphy’s Pizza Fundraiser every 3 months. When you order pizza from Papa Murphy’s online (on our fundraising day) using the code SHARE at checkout, 25% of proceeds will go towards Family Promise.

This year’s quilt raffle will be for two separate pieces. The first quilt is “Broken Sunset,” a quilt pieced by Marie Frick. This quilt measures, 69″x69″ and the pattern is a “Judy Neimeyer” design.

The second quilt is “Twisted Stars,” a quilt pieced by Sagebrush Quilters. This quilt measures 43.5″x57.5″.

Winners will be drawn in 2022!

Raffle tickets are $3.00 each or 4 for $10.00.

Raffle tickets can be purchased year-round. The quilt raffle winner will be drawn at our Volunteer Appreciation event in October. Raffle tickets can be purchased here.

When you donate $307 within the year you are automatically a Club 307 member. Learn more here.

Family Promise T-Shirts

Family Promise T-shirts are now available for purchase!  Email us with the size you would like and let us know when you would like to come pick it up. You can get your shirt during our office hours at 215 S. 11th St. Shirts are $20 each; you can purchase them through Paypal, or pay with cash or a check when you visit our office to receive them.

Facebook Fundraiser

You can set up a Facebook fundraiser for Family Promise of Albany County on your FaceBook page! These are easy to set up and FaceBook gives all proceeds to FPAC.

Ridley’s Family Market

You can designate your Ridley Reward points to go towards Family Promise of Albany County.

Mimi’s Consignment

Put your unused items to good use! You can bring your household items to Mimi’s and put them under the FPAC consignment account. When the items sell, the consignment profit goes to FPAC.

Paypal Giving

You can set Family Promise of Albany County as your favorite charity with the Paypal Giving Fund.

Drop off pantry items

If you have diaper and/or hygiene items to donate you can drop them off on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am-4pm. Location 215 S. 11th Street, please ring doorbell for Family Promise. If you need to schedule another time to drop off items please call 307-742-6480.

Goods Drive/Collection

2 ways to collect items:

Set up a collection time for your club, group, or organization to donate items. Drop off items to the office/pantry on Tuesdays or Thursdays 9am-4pm. Call us for bins and promotional material or to schedule a time for us to pick up the items. 307-742-6480

Set up a time to collection donations outside of a grocery store. Call us and we will help with getting you setup at a store with collection bins to collect items. 307-742-6480. *Note: Due to social distancing we do not recommend the store collections until further notice.

Place Orders Online

You can order items for the Pantry through our Amazon Wishlist or order items by the case through Dollar Tree.

Do you crochet/knit?

Washcloths and scrubby pads are a popular item with pantry guests.

Help us raise awareness about diaper need and the impacts of poverty! Diaper Need Awareness Week is in September. Help us raise awareness of homelessness and poverty! Family Promise Awareness week is in October.

Throughout the year we have several awareness and fundraising activities. If you are interested in helping please sign up on the volunteer page so we can let you know when these opportunities become available.

Employer Matching

Ask your employer if they have an employee matching program. If they do this can practically double your donation dollars! Employers with matching programs that we are aware of: Verizon, Maurices, State Farm, StarBucks, Murdochs, Ace Hardware, First State Bank, First Interstate Bank, and Wells Fargo.
