Shelter in Laramie WY

Albany County is one of the poorest counties in WY, however, Laramie does not have a brick-and-mortar shelter. Guests in our program work with our family advocate to access a broad range of community support resources including shelter, meals, vital document recovery, and training to help them achieve sustainable independence.

Do You Need Shelter?

To be eligible you must currently be living with and caring for a child under the age of 18 and be residing in Albany County.

About our Shelter Program:

  • FPAC shelters families in hotels/motels. One room per family.
  • We can support up to 3 families at a time.
  • Services are provided once initial paperwork is received and processed. If we are not at full capacity this can take from 2 days to 2 weeks.
  • Services are provided based on level of need, potential for achieving sustainable living standards, and our capacity at the time of intake.

Once we receive your paperwork our team will review it and contact you if we have questions.
